Blushing Sheep Flight Simulation Software Design and Development was formed in
January 2008 with the aim of providing high quality add-ons to the FS community.
Formed by the team behind the 'Dispatch Planner' series of add-ons, Blushing
Sheep aims to continue the tradition of high quality software with
second-to-none support.
First launched in early 2006 as a simple Excel based flight-planning
tool for FS2004, Dispatch Planner quickly expanded and improved on
every release.
Eventually, there was such demand for the program that it needed to
become standalone, dispensing with the limitations of Excel. To
achieve this, a complete re-write of the program was required. This
painstaking process took many months, and included a thorough
beta-test process. In June 2007, Dispatch Planner
III was released to much positive feedback for FS2004 and FSX.
Gradually, the development team grew, with three people now working
on the Dispatch Planner project. After much feedback on the program,
an update to Dispatch Planner III was released
in September 2007. This was provided free of charge to customers and
included many new features and tweaks.
Since the release of Dispatch Planner III,
development work shifted to Dispatch Planner X. This fourth
generation of the Dispatch Planner series will contain many new
features and advanced options and is currently expected to be
released in late Summer 2008.
However, Blushing Sheep also have plans for other brand new
projects, while of course continuing development on the Dispatch
Planner series, so look out for more information and announcements
soon!
